About The Program
The CAMP IN-THE-SCHOOL model is the framework for schools that puts high school students at the forefront of their career journey. It's going to make a big difference in our education system, as it exists today CAMP furnishes middle and high schools with a seamless career pathway for its students and a head start to adult apprenticeship and/or their chosen profession. It’s an opportunity for their students to learn skills necessary for a career with high learning potential, personal growth and continued workplace learning after graduation.
For middle school, the program is aimed to provide an early career pathway that allows students to gain necessary academic instruction and workplace training combined with related in-school practical work-based experience.
For high school, the program is primarily aimed at students pursuing a diploma and who desire to experience a real job environment relating to their career choice before graduating. Overall, students obtain the opportunity not only to explore a specific line of work, but to also acquire a taste of the culture of the world of work and gain an appreciation of core, generic features of work life.
